ミッフィーカフェかまいし | Miffy Café Kamaishi

２０１１年の東日本大震災後、釜石の街に人と色彩を取り戻すために、オランダのグラフィック・アーティスト、ディック・ブルーナによるキャラクター、ミッフィーがカフェという形で常設されました。２０１５年のオープニングから、「ミッフィー・カフェ・かまいし」はオランダの雰囲気やスイーツを提供する観光スポットとして人気を集めています。 | After the Earthquake and Tsunami of 2011, Miffy, the beloved character by Dutch graphic artist Dick Bruna, came to town of Kamaishi to bring back people and colors through Miffy Café Kamaishi as a part of the reconstruction process. Ever since its opening in 2015, the café has become a tourist spot which offers an atmosphere and sweets inspired by the Netherlands.

料亭花月 | Restaurant Kagetsu

中国、ポルトガル、オランダ料理の影響を受けた日本料理（卓袱料理）を提供している料亭です。長崎に外国人が在留していたことから、こうした料理が生まれました。 | Japanese restaurant that serves food with Chinese, Portugese and Dutch influences. These originated from the foreign presence Nagasaki.

「ライトハウス東京」飲食店 | Restaurant Lighthouse-Tokyo

イギリスとオランダのハーフである兄妹が経営するバーレストランです。メニューには、オランダビールや丸型のミニコロッケ「ビターボーレン」があります。| A bar/restaurant run by a Dutch-English sister and brother. On the menu are several Dutch beers and 'bitterballen'.

オランダ煎餅 | Oranda Sembei

オランダ煎餅は、山形の酒田米菓株式会社が製造・販売している煎餅です。庄内平野に広がる田園風景が牧歌的なオランダの田園風景に似ていることからオランダ煎餅と呼ばれるようになりました。また、庄内地方の方言で「私たち」のことを「おらだ」と言いますが、「私たちの煎餅」が「おらだの煎餅」となり、徐々に「オランダ煎餅」となっていった、という説もあります。| The Oranda Sembei is a Japanese rice cracker sold by the shop Sakatabeika. The name originated from two things. First, the scenery in the Shonai region has large open fields, resembling of the idyllic Dutch fields. Secondly, in the local dialect the word for ‘our’ (watashitachi) is pronounced ‘orada’. ‘Our sembei’ thus became ‘orada no sembei’. Over time, this became ‘oranda sembei’ instead.

オランダコロッケ | Oranda Croquette

2000年、日蘭通商400周年と高崎市制100周年を記念して開催された「オランダフェスタ・イン・たかさき」で、高崎市の15の精肉店がオランダコロッケを紹介しました。オランダコロッケは今では高崎市名物として有名になりました。| During the 400 year commemoration of the Japanese-Dutch relations in 2000, the city of Takasaki also celebrated its 100 year commemoration. During the festivities a Holland festival was held and the Dutch croquette was introduced by 15 butcher's shops in Takasaki. It can now be considered a Takasaki speciality.

ワーフルハウス | Wafelhuis

ワーフルハウスは、焼きたてのオランダストロープワッフルを販売する日本で唯一の店です。| Wafelhuis is the only place in Japan that sells freshly-handmade Dutch stroopwafels.

2016/

「2016/」は有田焼の歴史と技術を継承する、グローバルブランドです。2016年。400年という節目の年に、世界に散らばる16組の優れたデザイナーと共に、新たな陶磁器ブランド「2016/」が誕生しました。またそれだけでなく、オランダのヨーロピアンセラミックワークセンターと佐賀県窯業技術センターの間での研究交流なども行われていました。 | 2016/ makes contemporary porcelain using the specialist skills found in the pottery town of Arita, Japan. 2016: A year destined to be a turning point in four centuries of Arita. 16 teams of prominent international designers have been brought together from far and wide to give creation to the new porcelain brand of 2016/. They immersed themselves in the rich tradition of the Japanese porcelain industry and enriched that craft with new designs and the very latest techniques. But that is not all. The European Ceramic Work Centre in the Netherlands and the Arita Ceramics Laboratory exchanged knowledge and expertise.
