黒部市 | Kurobe city

1970年から、黒部市はオランダのスネーク市と姉妹都市提携を結んでいます。黒部市には、スネーク市への訪問経験のある市民を中心に構成されている「黒部スネーク会」があります。2000年、姉妹都市提携30周年を記念し、黒部市総合公園内にある風車周辺が「スネーク広場」と命名されました。黒部市内には、オランダ人技師A.R.ムルデルが手掛けたさまざまな治水事業が残されています。| Since 1970 Kurobe is the sister city of the Dutch city of Sneek and it has an association for citizens who have visted Sneek, called the Sneek Association. In 2000, in commemoration of the 30the anniversary of the sister city relation, the surroundings of the Dutch windmills located in the park were named "Sneek Square". one can find various waterworks by 19th-century Dutch engineer Anthonie Rouwenhorst Mulder in Kurobe.

砺波市 | Tonami City

1992年から、砺波市とオランダ、リッセ市は姉妹都市提携を結んでいます。これらの市はともに花の町として知られ、フラワーパークが有名です。毎年の春、砺波市で大きいチューリップフェアーが開催されています。そのとき、６００品種の２５０万本のチュールップを見えます。また、友好の意思表示としてあげられた「De Vriendschap」 (友好）というオランダの伝統的な風車もあります。| Between 1992 and 2017, Tonami was the sister city of the Dutch city of Lisse. Both cities are well known for their flowers and flower parks. Every year in spring there is a large tulip fair in Tonami's Tulip park, when 2,5 million tulips bloom in 600 varieties. Further, there is a traditional windmill called 'Friendship' (de Vriendschap) which was provided by the Netherlands as a sign of comradery. In 2017, Lisse ended the relation due to budget cuts.

石川県オランダ協会 | Ishikawa Holland Association

石川県オランダ協会は、芸術、文化、スポーツを通じて日本とオランダの友好関係を深めています。| The Ishikawa Holland Association tries to strengthen the friendship between Japan and the Netherlands through art, culture and sports.

関西日蘭協会 | Japan-Netherlands Society of the Kansai

関西日蘭協会は、オランダで始まった世界有数の電機会社のフィリップスと提携関係にあった松下電器産業株式会社（現パナソニック株式会社）創業者の松下幸之助氏が1950年代に創設しました。2009年に、同協会は創立50周年を迎えました。事務局は現在もパナソニック株式会社が運営しています。 | Established by the founder of Matsushita in the 1950's when there was a close cooperation with Philips, one of the largest electronics companies in the world which was originally founded in the Netherlands. In 2009 the society celebrated its 50th anniversary and the secretarial office of the society is still being run by Matsushita.

門真市 | Kadoma City

門真市とオランダ、アイントホーフェン市は、1967年から姉妹都市提携を結んでいます。松下電器産業株式会社（現パナソニック株式会社）とフィリップス社との業務提携がその由来です。| Sister city of Eindhoven since 1967. The relation originates from the close ties Philips had with Matsushita.

西日本オランダ人協会 | Netherlands Society in West Japan

西日本オランダ人協会は、1955年6月17日に大阪に設立されました。この協会の目的は、1）西日本のオランダ人社会の社会的・文化的要望、2）当局とのあらゆる協力を前提としたオランダ人全般の利益増大、3）オランダ人または国際的な慈善のための資金調達、に配慮しつつ、オランダ人社会成員間の親交を深め、オランダの市民、諸機関、諸組織を支援することです。| Founded in Osaka on June 17 1955. The objective of the Netherlands Society in West Japan is to develop good relations among members of the Dutch community, taking care of the social and cultural needs of the Dutch community in West Japan, the promotion of general Dutch interests, of course in complete cooperation with the authorities, and the collection of funds to the benefit of Dutch or International charities or to support citizens, institutions or organizations of the Netherlands.

神戸港 | Kobe Port

神戸港は1967年から、ロッテルダム港（オランダ）とシアトル港（米国）との間に姉妹港提携を結んでいます。| Kobe port has been the sister port of Rotterdam port and Seattle port since 1967.

周南市 | Shunan City

周南市とオランダ、フローニンゲン州のデルフザイル市は1990年から姉妹都市提携を結んでいます。1995年以来毎年、両都市は青少年のための交流事業を行っています。| Since 1990, Shunan is a sister city of Delfzijl. There is a yearly exchange between the cities for teenagers, since 1995.

水巻町 | Mizumaki City

1996年から2000年にかけて、水巻町はオランダのエメロード（ノールドオーストポルダー市と合併）と特別な友好関係を築きました。1996年から継続している青少年の交流プログラムは、現在、特別に創設された「日本友の会（Vrienden van Japan）」基金が運営しています。| Between 1996 and 2000 Mizumaki had a special relation with the city of Emmeloord which then merged into Noordoostpolder. The student exhange that has been in existence since 1996 is now handled by a specially established foundation 'Vrienden van Japan'.

水巻町国際交流協会 | Mizumaki International Association

第二次世界大戦中に亡くなったオランダ兵捕虜を記念する「十字架の塔」の復元とノールドオーストポルダー市との交流事業の枠組みづくりのつもりがある協会です。| Association which aims to restore the Cross Monument in commemoration of Dutch POW who died in Japan during WOII and provide a framework for the exchange with Noordoostpolder.

柳川市 | Yanagawa City

柳川市は、1973年から2001年にブレーデルヴィーデがステーンウェイクに合併されるまで、ブレーデルヴィーデと姉妹都市提携を結んでいました。両市とも運河（堀割）が有名です。| Sistercity of Brederweide from 1973 until 2001, when Brederweide was merged into Steenwijk. Yanagawa and Brederweide are both known for their canals.

函館市 | Hakodate City

１８５８年にオランダをはじめ５か国と結んだ修好通商条約により、函館は１８５９年に港を開き、１８６１年から１８７１年の間、函館にはオランダ領事が配置されました。 ２００５年に交流協会が設立されたお祝いとして、オランダ大使館から贈られた１万個のチューリップの球根は、函館公園や道南四季の杜公園で来場者を楽しませました。| The harbour of Hakodate was opened in 1859 as a result of the conclusion of the Treaty of Amety and Commerce which was signed in 1858 with the Netherlands and 4 other countries. From 1861 until 1871 a Dutch consul general was installed in Hakodate. On the occasion of the establishment of the Hakodate-Esashi Netherlands Friendship Association in 2005, the Dutch embassy donated 10.000 tulips which were planted in the Hakodate Park and Donan-Shiki-no-Mori Park.

山田町 | Yamada Town

山田町とオランダの関係は、オランダ船ブレケンス号が山田港に漂着した1643年にさかのぼります。この出来事を記念し、山田湾の大島はオランダ島に改称されました。 2000年、山田町はオランダ、ザイスト市と友好都市提携を結びました。 2011年3月11日の東日本大震災の際、山田町は地震と津波により壊滅的な被害を受けました。その以来、山田市の復興が着々進めています。 | The relationship of Yamada Town with the Netherlands dates back to 1643, when the Dutch ship "Breskens" arrived in the bay of Yamada. To celebrate this event the island Oshima was renamed Orandajima. Since 2000 Yamada Town has a 'Bond of Friendly Relationship' with Zeist.During the 11 March 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami Yamada Town was totally devastated and over 700 people died in the disaster. Since then the people of Yamada have worked on rebuilding their town. Zeist on its part has organized local charity events and donated the proceeds to Yamada.

山田町とオランダ王国間の交流事業推進に貢献するとともに、文化的な相互理解を深める目的として設立されました。| This society was founded to support the activities related to the Netherlands and encourage the cultural exchange and understanding between the two countries.

山形大学 | Yamagata University

山形大学はライデン大学と毎年交流を行っています。| Yamagata University has a yearly exchange with Leiden University.

郡山市 | Koriyama City

1988年、郡山市はオランダ、ブルメン市と姉妹都市提携を結びました。明治時代に、ブルメン市出身のコルネリス・ヨハネス・ファン・ドールンが郡山市の重要な治水工事を手掛けたことから両市の関係が始まりました。毎年、郡山市から代表団がブルメン市を訪問しています。| Since 1988, Koriyama City has been the sister city of Brummen. Brummen is the birth place of Cornelis Johannes van Door, who constructed several important waterworks in Koriyama City during the Meiji Period. A Japanese delegation from Koriyama visits Brummen on a yearly basis.

高知県 | Kochi Prefecture

2009年11月、高知県とオランダ、ウェストランド市は、持続可能な農業推進をめざし、友好園芸農業協定を締結しました。| Signed a horticultural friend agreement with the municipality of Westland for the promotion of sustainable agriculture in November 2009.

東松山市 | Higashi-Matsuyama City

1996年、東松山市とオランダ、ナイメーヘン市は姉妹都市提携を結びました。両市ともウォーキングの大会（「ナイメーヘン・インターナショナル・フォーデーズ・マーチ」、「日本スリーデーマーチ」）を開催しており、互いに市民代表団を送り、大会に参加しています。定期的に学生の交流事業も行っています。| Since 1996 it has an official friendship with Nijmegen. Both cities organize a walking event, International Four Day Marches Nijmegen and the "Japan Three Day March "(in November) to which both cities send a delegation to. There are regular student exchanges between the two cities.

佐倉市 | Sakura City

1843年、佐倉藩主は蘭学者佐藤泰然を藩医として取り立てました。これにより、泰然は江戸で開いた医学校を佐倉市に移転させ、順天堂と名付けました。佐藤泰然は、蘭学の知識を利用し、医療革新を日本に紹介しました。| In 1843, the feudal lord of the Sakura domain invited Taizen Sato, who had been a student in Dutch Studies in Nagasaki, to serve as his personal doctor. Hereupon, Sato moved his medical school from Edo to Sakura and named it Juntendo. Taizen Sato used his knowledge of the Dutch language to introduce medical innovations to Japan, such as the smallpox vaccine which was introduced by the Dutch in 1849.

佐倉日蘭協会は、佐倉市とオランダの歴史的なつながりを、友好と文化理解を通じて継続していくことを目的に1987年に発足されました。| A society started in 1987 to keep the historical link between Sakura City and the Netherlands alive through friendship and cultural understanding.

南足柄市 | Minamiashigara City

南足柄市とオランダ、ティルブルグは、1989年に姉妹都市提携を結びました。南足柄に本社があった富士写真フイルム株式会社（現 富士フイルム株式会社）がティルブルグに工場を建設したことをきっかけに両都市の関係が築かれました。| Minamiashigara is the sister city of Tilburg, since 1989. The relationship started by the introduction of Fuji Film in Tilburg, of which the headquarters are based in Minimiashigara.

新潟市 | Niigata Prefecture

1997年、新潟県はオランダ北ホラント州と交流協力合意書を取り交わしました。友好関係は経済、文化、技術協力、学術など多分野にわたります。友好関係締結以来、新潟オランダ祭りやさまざまな花のイベントが開催されています。かつて、1862年には、オランダ戦艦「Bali」が新潟に来航したこともありました。| Since 1997 Niigata Prefecture is the sister province of Noord-Holland. The friendship covers multiple sectors, such as trade, culture, technical cooperation and science. Ever since the exchange Holland festivals and flower events have been held. The historical relationship between both provinces originated from 1862, when the Dutch warship ''Bali" arrived in Niigata.

新潟オランダ協会 | Niigata-Netherlands Society

新潟とオランダの文化交流を目的とする協会で、毎年新潟オランダ祭りを主催しています。| Society for the cultural exchange between Niigata and the Netherlands by organising the Holland Festival every year.

日蘭協会 | Japan-Netherlands Society

日蘭協会は日蘭両国政府が認める日本で唯一の日蘭友好団体です。 １９１２（大正元）年、大隈重信伯爵を会頭として発足、第二次世界大戦により活動を中断しましたが、戦後１９５４（昭和２９）年に再発足しました。 日蘭の文化の相互理解と、両国の国民の友好親善に寄与することを目的としています。 | The Japan-Netherlands Society is an unique organization that both Japan and the Netherlands governments officially recognize as a friendship-organization　between Japan and the Netherlands. The organization was established in 1912 with Earl Shigenobu Okuma as the first Chairman. Its activities were interrupted during the World War II, however, it was re-established in 1954. The Society's objective is to contribute to the mutual understanding of the cultures between Japan and the Netherlands and to promote amity and friendly relationships between the people of both nations.

東京駅 | Tokyo Station

首都の玄関口、通過線方式、赤レンガ駅舎等、多くの共通点を持っていることから、2006年、東京駅とオランダ、アムステルダム中央駅は姉妹駅協定を締結しました。| In 2006, Tokyo Station and Amsterdam Central Station concluded a sister-station agreement as both stations share many similarities such as their functions of entrances in the capital, transit line systems and the red brick station buildings.

日蘭学会 | Japan-Netherlands Institute

日蘭学会は1975年に、日蘭両国の文化・学術研究および文化交流を促進することを目的として設立されました。東京の中心部に位置するこの学会は、シンポジウム、講演会、オランダ語講習会、文化活動などを通じて両国の文化・学術交流に寄与しています。| Institute founded in 1975 to promote academic and cultural cooperation and exchange between Japan and the Netherlands. The institute, located in the center of Tokyo, is contributing to the Japanese-Dutch relations by organising symposia, lectures, Dutch language courses and cultural activities.

砺波市オランダ友好交流協会 | Tonami-Holland Friendship Exchange Society

砺波市とオランダ、特に姉妹都市であるリッセ市との文化交流（２０１７年まで）を進めている団体です。両市間での交流活動を定期的に行っています。| Society for the cultural exchange between Tonami and the Netherlands, especially with Lisse, the sister city of Tonami until 2017. The cities hold regular exchanges.
